Our community is hurting financially. COVID-19 simply exposed what we already knew: our economy is not meant for us. That’s why we are starting conversations about what alternative economies could look like in Columbia County. CCSM has begun conversations about worker-owned cooperatives, alternative banking, universal basic income, and other methods of building up resources in our own community.
