Taxes for EWF Recipients

Important: You should have received a 1099-G tax form from the NYS Department of Labor to the address listed on your EWF application.

As you may know, payments from the EWF are considered taxable income. Although payments were mailed with state taxes already taken out, they may still be subject to federal income tax. The income from this form must be included in your tax filings for the 2021 calendar year.
