Rodrigo Calderon Moran
Running for: Treasurer
As a directly impacted immigrant from El Salvador, Rodrigo Calderon Moran understands the hardships immigrants face when navigating financial, legal, political and educational systems in the United States. Knowing there is an organization like CCSM to support and build power with him and his family has been inspiring.
Rodrigo deeply resonates with CCSM’s principles and practices, especially in his belief that “no one is free until we are all free” and in turn that diversity is one of our communities most important strengths. He knows CCSM is a catalyst for positive change and that the movement’s work makes our service area more inclusive.
Rodrigo has gone above and beyond to facilitate the financial health and empowerment of local immigrant communities as a Senior Branch Specialist at Greylock Federal Credit Union. As a Certified Financial Coach he hopes to continue to increase the financial literacy of CCSM’s membership. Rodrigo’s current skills and eagerness to learn will help support his role as a Treasurer and increase the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.
Carline Murphy
Running for: Director At-Large
Carline Seide-Murphy was born in 1959 of Haitian origin. She completed her high school in Miami, Florida. She later moved to Boston, MA, attended U-Mass Boston before transferring to SUNY- Empire State College in NY. She received a BS in Human Services and an incomplete Master in Social Policy. Settling down in Columbia County, NY since 1992 to raise her family of 4 children and managing her husband’s dental practice, Carline served with many local groups relating to childhood education, the arts, political, church, and community organizations. She traveled to several States in the US for missions, delivering Haitian refugee services to Cuba and addressing local immigrant issues through her not for profit organization. She is a three time Award recipient from Energy Globe Foundation of Austria for her environmental work in Haiti and was named the Foundation’s Ambassador for Haiti. She’s a Commissioned Notary Public, a volunteer community radio programmer and co-host of a weekly cultural program since 2009.
Michael Richardson
Running for: Director At-Large
Michael Richardson is a life-long activist - from war-resistance and social justice movements beginning in the early 1970’s to today as a planner and organizer of climate and environmental actions.
Michael is an advocate for regenerative agriculture. In 2012, he co-founded and directed an agroecology training and demonstration center in Nicaragua for small-scale growers.
Michael is currently the co-facilitator of Third Act in Upstate New York and is on the steering committee of NY Renews, the force behind the landmark New York State climate law. Michael is a strong advocate for the rapid transition to a publicly-owned renewable energy system and is a co-chair of Public Power NY. He resides in Columbia County, New York.
From a varied cache of experiences - including organic farmer, solar heating contractor, labor economist, county legislator, and municipal consultant - Michael is committed to bringing attention to the moral imperative to bring an end to the era of fossil fuels.
Andreas Schneider
Running for: Director At-Large
Andreas Schneider is an entrepreneur and strategist with deep roots in mission-driven enterprise. He began his career with Banyan Family Business Consultants, advising multi-generational family owned enterprises on governance, succession, and organizational purpose. He later served in a leadership role and on the Board of Directors at Hawthorne Valley, and as a consultant to Rolling Grocer 19, where he worked at the intersection of education, agriculture, food justice, and community development. As Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Sales at FedUp Foods, Andreas has helped build one of the fastest-growing fermentation-based beverage companies in the U.S., forging national retail partnerships and scaling regenerative supply chains. In addition to his operational leadership, Andreas has served on the Board of Directors at Hearth in Boston, supporting innovative housing and elder-care solutions for unhoused seniors, volunteered as a Big Brother, and served as a volunteer communications consultant with the Columbia County Recovery Kitchen. Across all his work, he brings a blend of systems thinking, strategic empathy, and regenerative economics, with a focus on aligning business growth with human and ecological well-being.
